Blue Point’s fantastic start at stud continued on Monday, 28 August as his juvenile daughter Boann became his 30th individual winner, following a decisive two and a quarter length win at Southwell to gain a well-deserved maiden victory on her third start.
Trained by Ollie Sangster, Boann jumped well and was soon taken to the front where she comfortably led throughout the race. Striding out well under Jack Mitchell, the filly found plenty inside the final furlong to draw clear from the field and win the five-furlong novice contest unchallenged.
Impressive!
