Brazen Beau’s smart sprinter Logo Hunter added a second Black Type win and fourth career victory to his record on Wednesday, 9 June when running out the impressive winner of the Listed Midsummer Sprint Stakes, run over 1,000m at Cork in Ireland.
The three-year-old was initially settled off the pace but took the lead 200m from home and ran on superbly to win by a length and a half.
Logo Hunter was bred in Ireland by Mountarmstrong Stud and is out of the G2-placed mare Jadanna. Interestingly, he is bred on a similar cross to the elite sprinter North Pacific (Brazen Beau). Brazen Beau has now produced 13 Stakes winners, including G1 winner On The Bubbles.
Brazen Beau will stand the forthcoming southern hemisphere season at a service fee of $49,500 inc GST, at Northwood Park, Victoria.
