Pinstriped announced his arrival at weight-for-age level with a tough second-up performance to win the G2 Feehan Stakes over 1,600m at Moonee Valley on Saturday, 9 September.
A Stakes winner of the G3 C.S. Hayes Stakes last year, the lightly raced Street Boss (USA) gelding put the writing on the wall with a fine second in the G2 P.B Lawrence Stakes at Caulfield last month.
On Saturday, jockey Ben Allen set Pinstriped alight around the field at the 600m and the five-year-old chestnut proved too good for Attrition and Tuvalu (Kermadec) in a tight finish.
Out of the Blitz, Pinstriped took his race record to six wins and five placings from 17 starts for Cranbourne trainer Enver Jusufovic.
Jusufovic and Gary Mudgway Bloodstock paid $80,000 for Pinstriped at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Weanling Sale.
The sire of former champion Australian galloper Anamoe, the progeny of Street Boss have won 2519 races worldwide - including 132 Stakes races.
Street Boss leads the stallion roster at Darleyβs Northwood Park property in Victoria for a service fee of $66,000 inc GST.
