Brazen Beau’s three-year-old daughter Vadream added a well-deserved first Group win to her record in gutsy fashion on Saturday, 2 October when taking the 1,200m G3 Bengough Stakes at Ascot.
Prominently ridden under jockey David Egan, Vadream tackled the testing conditions in fine style, battling superbly to win by a length.
Bred by Crispin Estates Ltd, Vadream is out of the Shamardal mare Her Honour, dam of another Black Type performer in Mirage Hero. They are from the family of multiple Australian Group winner Big Duke, who is by fellow Darley stallion Raven’s Pass.
Brazen Beau is also sire of G1 winner On The Bubbles, G2 winners Pretty Brazen and Colada, plus G1 performer North Pacific.
He stands at Northwood Park at a fee of $49,500 inc GST.
