Son of Exceed And Excel wins the Listed Piala Emas Sultan Selangor in Malaysia

Singapore regular Trudeau, an Australian-bred son of Exceed And Excel, won his third Stakes victory on Sunday June 8 when landing the Piala Emas Sultan Selangor over 2000m in Malaysia. The winner of nine career races and over $600,000 in prize money, he was the winner of a brace of Singapore Listed races in 2013.

Bred by Darley, he is out of the Kris mare Canadian Legacy, herself a sister to G2-winner and Oaks filly Hawajiss. He is from the family of Fast Company and this seasons New Zealand G1-winner Nashville.

Exceed And Excel is the sire of nine top-flight winners including leading Australian juveniles Helmet, Guelph, Earthquake and Overreach. From his European crops he has leading miler Excelebration and last season's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf hero Outstrip.

Exceed And Excel is standing this forthcoming breeding season at Kelvinside at a fee of $110,000 inc. GST. His sons Helmet and Kuroshio both stand at Northwood Park at fees of $33,000 and $8,800.
