Exceed And Excel reached another milestone on Saturday, 3 September when his juvenile son Mischief Magic struck in the G3 Sirenia Stakes. Going into the race on the back of two victories, he dropped in from his bad draw at the rear of the field. Making his move turning in, he quickened well down the outside to win going away by two lengths.
A Godolphin homebred, Mischief Magic is a full brother to Royal Ascot juvenile Stakes winner Sound And Silence. His dam Veil Of Silence (Elusive Quality) hails from the extended family of Classic winner Barathea.
