Already a G1 producer, second-season sire Harry Angel continues to add winners recording an Australian Day double at Warwick Farm and Murray Bridge respectively.
It was Chris Waller's Tellez (3G, Azeema by Fastnet Rock) who saluted in the first race at Warwick Farm by three-quarters of a length sporting Neville Morgan's white and blue colours, carried by fellow Darley stallion Kermadec.
Raced by old friends Neville Morgan and David Devine, Tellez was a $240,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale first-crop purchase for Chris Waller Racing/Mulcaster Bloodstock in 2022.
From the draft of Bhima Thoroughbreds, Tellez was bred by T B R Dixon & Haunui Bloodstock Ltd - a great return on the $22,000 including GST first-season service fee.
