Street Cry colt takes Listed race

Predatory Pricer wins Ming Dynasty Handicap at Rosehill

The regally-bred Predatory Pricer (Street Cry) won his first Stakes race on Saturday when taking the Listed Ming Dynasty Handicap over seven-furlongs at Rosehill, Sydney.

He has now won two of his four starts and is likely to back up in the Gloaming Stakes next week before a possible tilt at the Australian Derby later in the season.

Bred by Meringo Stud Farm, he is by leading third-crop sire Street Cry, and a half-brother to millionaire globetrotting sprinter Takeover Target. His dam, Shady Street, also has a yearling by Dubawi, who only had one yearling offered on week one of Keeneland, which was sold for $300,000.
