In 2022, after two years of the industry's stallion stud gates being forced closed on the government's advice, in August we were finally able to welcome crowds back to admire our lineup of stallions for the 2022 season.
Across six open house parades, one hosted at Northwood Park at Seymour in rural Victoria plus five at Kelvinside in the Hunter Valley, Darley welcomed a total of 1,149 people.
Darley stallion caps were made available for a $5 donation to a charity of each donor's choice, Godolphin matching dollar for dollar.
Three charities were selected based on the pillars of the industry: education (Thoroughbred Industry Careers), welfare (Equine Pathways) and community (Riding for the Disabled Seymour and Upper Hunter Homeless Support) - together we raised $12,300!
