The brilliance of Frosted’s first Australian crop received further endorsement when Cloudy scored her second win - and defeated another by her sire - in the Listed Dequettville Stakes at Morphettville.
Cloudy’s last-stride lunge made her Frosted’s fifth winner in Australia and his fourth Stakes winner worldwide.
Frosted’s presence on the local scene was announced in the spring when Ingratiating became his first Stakes winner, taking out the Listed Maribyrnong Trial at Flemington in October.
He has since taken his total of individual winners to 31 while in Australia he has now had five winners, two of them at Stakes level with only one of his first nine to the races having so far missed a place.
