Strong Darley representation at Inglis Classic Sale
Shooting To Win half-sister to Brazen Beau among 800 yearlings catalogued
A colt by Darley’s exciting freshman sire Shooting To Win will get business underway at the new home of Australia’s oldest and most renowned bloodstock auctioneers, Inglis, on Saturday, 10 February.
Over the next four days, he and his fellow Darley stallions are responsible for a select group of yearlings that includes a half-sister to Champion sprinter Brazen Beau, a half-brother to G1 Victoria Derby and G1 Spring Champion Stakes winner Ace High (pictured below), and close relations to winners of the Golden Slipper and Melbourne Cup.

Lot 329: Hallowed Crown x Come Sunday colt
Hallowed Crown provides a particularly exciting lot in his filly from Sansadee, dam of dual G1 winner Brazen Beau, catalogued as lot 30.
The filly, consigned by Murulla Stud, is from a prolific winning family, with her dam one of no fewer than seven winners out of the Bletchingly mare Sansapa.
Hallowed Crown is also sire of lot 329, a colt from the Redoute’s Choice mare Come Sunday, dam of Ace High (High Chaparral) whose G1 Derby and Spring Champion Stakes wins make him the best staying three-year-old in Australia this season.
Shooting To Win is represented again later by lot 381 (pictured below), a filly out of Enjoyment, herself a half-sister to G1 Golden Slipper winner Mossfun and fellow Stakes winner Eximios.

Shooting To Win is also sire of lot 300, a filly from the Street Sense mare Broadway And Fifth, herself a daughter of G1 Melbourne Cup winner Jezabeel.
Another of Darley’s Champion Australian sprinters is Sepoy, whose progeny have made a very successful start on the track so far this year, has seven yearlings on offer including lot 64 (pictured below), a filly from the winning Fusaichi Pegasus mare Shirl Pegasus. She is from an excellent European family that includes Group winners Sure Blade and Sure Sharp.

Newhaven Park Stud’s consignment includes a pair of well-related Reset yearlings in lot 223 (pictured below), a filly from the Commands mare Windrunner, and lot 437, a colt from Heriz (Redoute’s Choice).
Windrunner is a half-sister to Listed Magic Millions Two-Year-Old Classic winner Unencumbered, while Heriz is related to G1 Breeders Cup Turf winner and European Darley stallion Outstrip, plus Royal Ascot two-year-old winner Magic Mirror and G2 winner Almushtarak.
Lot 223: Reset x Windrunner filly
The first 600 Lots catalogued make up Book One of the sale and will be offered for sale from Saturday, 10 to Monday, 12 February with a further 200 due to go through the ring in Book Two on Tuesday, 13 February.
