Unlimited Budget scores in G2 Demoiselle Stakes

Street Sense juvenile stays unbeaten at Aqueduct

The exciting Street Sense two-year-old filly Unlimited Budget easily captured the G2 Demoiselle Stakes November 24 at Aqueduct, USA.

An impressive nine and one-half length debut winner in early November, the filly maintained her perfect record with victory in the G2 Demoiselle over 1800m. Unlimited Budget broke straight to the lead where she held the front position throughout and none could challenge the filly as she proved too strong for her opposition.

Unlimited Budget was a US$475,000 OBS two-year-old purchase for Repole Stables. She is out of the Stakes-placed Valid Appeal mare Unlimited Pleasure, also the dam of Graded Stakes winners Jardin and Beacon Shine. Unlimited Pleasure is a half-sister to G1 winner Outofthebox.

A winner of both the G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile and G1 Kentucky Derby, Street Sense is the best son of fantastic sire Street Cry. Unlimited Budget becomes the third Northern Hemisphere Graded Stakes winner for her sire. He is the sire of a strong 10 Graded Stakes horses from his first two crops in the United States, including G3 winners Castaway and Motor City, and G1-placed fillies Aubby K and Miss Netta.

With three yearlings catalogued for January's Magic Millions yearling sale, one of particular interest is lot 887, out of the Commands mare Indalama. The bay or brown filly is a half-sister to the second top priced Lonhro yearling colt of 2012, that was knocked down to George Moore Bloodstock at the Easter yearling sales for $500,000.

Street Sense is currently standing at Darley Kelvinside for a fee of $38,500 (inc. GST) alongside his sire who is standing the current season at a fee of $110,000 (inc. GST).
