Unlimited Budget stays unbeaten in G2 Fair Grounds Oaks

Second Graded victory on the day for Street Sense

Street Sense's unbeaten daughter Unlimited Budget took her third Graded Stakes victory in a row March 30 with a strong win in the G2 Fair Grounds Oaks. It was the second Graded Stakes winner on the day for Street Sense, who sired impressive G3 Skip Away Stakes winner Cigar Street as well.

After breaking her maiden in early November, Unlimited Budget returned with an easy win in the G2 Demoiselle Stakes at Aqueduct. On her three-year-old debut Unlimited Budget notched another victory, this time in the G3 Rachel Alexandra Stakes, before returning to Fair Grounds for her latest win.

Settling in third position on the outside in theĀ 1700m race, the 4-5 favorite closed in on leaders entering the final turn. In the stretch she pulled away to continue her perfect record and is on pace for a start in the G1 Kentucky Oaks in May.

A $475,000 OBS two-year-old purchase for Repole Stables, Unlimited Budget is out of the Stakes-placed Valid Appeal mare Unlimited Pleasure, who is a half-sister to Graded Stakes winners Jardin and Beacon Shine. Unlimited Pleasure herself is a half-sister to G1 winner Outofthebox.

In addition to Cigar Street, Street Sense has also sired Graded Stakes winners Castaway, Motor City, and Aubby K - who recently took the G2 Inside Information Stakes. A son of talented sire Street Cry, Street Sense was the only horse to ever complete the G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile, G1 Kentucky Derby double.
