Commands sires the first two home in G3 Darley BTC Sprint at Doomben; new Australian winner for Tiger Hill

Commands (pictured) completed the exacta in the G3 Darley BTC Sprint at Doomben on Saturday when Court Command landed the 1350m contest, with his paternal half-brother El Cambio finishing a length behind in second place.

This was the fourth Group race win for Court Command, who has also won the G2 Stan Fox Stakes, whilst El Cambio is also a previous G2 winner.

Also at Doomben, Lonhro's two-year-old daughter Trim added further Black type to her record when second in the G2 Darley Champagne Classic. Having won on her debut last month, she took second in the Listed Ken Russell Memorial Classic on her last start two weeks ago. Lonhro has sired 13 Stakes performers to date, and boasts an impressive 47 per cent winners to runners.

First-season sire Tiger Hill recorded his second winner in Australia on the same day, when Shot Of Rhythm took the 1000m Handicap at Morphettville.

Meanwhile Wallinger, by fellow first-season sire Shamardal, recorded his second straight victory, winning over 1000m at Flemington.

A day earlier, Canny Lad recorded a new Stakes winner when his four-year-old daughter Rio Osa landed the Listed Dark Jewel Classic at Scone.
