New Stakes winner for Tiger Hill with victory for Daring Tiger in Germany

Three-year-old Tiger Hill colt Daring Tiger became the latest Stakes winner for his sire on 21 May when landing the Listed Grosser Preis der Sparkasse Dortmund in Germany.

Landing the ten-furlong contest by a neck from Panyu, Daring Tiger added his first win at Stakes level having finished second in the G3 Dr Busch Memorial earlier this year. His record now reads three starts for two wins and one second.

Owned and bred by Gestut Ammerland, Daring Tiger is out of the winning Sadler’s Wells mare Denial, herself a half-sister to G1 winner Light Jig.

Tiger Hill, who stands at Kelvinside at a fee of $11,000 including GST, has sired two winners to date from his first Australian crop.
