First Australian foal for Poet's Voice

G1-winning miler has colt born at Chatsworth Park Stud

His first northern hemisphere foals have been earning rave reviews and now G1-winning miler Poet's Voice has his first Australian foal.

Out of Redoute’s Choice mare Mel’s Pocket, the colt was born at Chatsworth Park Stud in Scone on August 9.

It is the first foal out of Mel’s Pocket who is an unraced half-sister to Ain’t Here, a G1 Victoria Derby placegetter who went on to become a multiple Group winner in Hong Kong.

Poet’s Voice was a G2-winning juvenile and won Europe’s premier mile race the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes. He is a son of phenomenon Dubawi who has sired 11 G1 winners including three from his only three Australian crops.

Poet’s Voice is set to commence his second season at Kelvinside at a fee of $13,750 inc. GST.
