Potential candidates for the 2009 Darley Flying Start course have just a few days left to submit applications, which will be taken up to Friday, 27 February.
The two-year programme has been running since 2004 and is open to all nationalities of any age. Twelve trainees are selected for each course and will be given the chance to study in Ireland, the UK, Dubai, Australia and the USA. Interviews will take place in the UK, Ireland and USA in March and in Australia in April.
In the five years since the Flying Start programme began, students have benefited from lectures by professionals from all walks of the racing and breeding industry, along with placements at major studs and with the world’s top racehorse trainers and bloodstock agents.
