In the seven furlong race Inny Minnie positioned herself just off the pace in fourth. With plenty left in the tank she kicked on in the late stretch to quickly sweep past rivals and take the victory.
Inny Minnie was bred by Equine Equity Partners, LLC and is a half-sister to English G2 winner Montgomery’s Arch and Stakes winner Welcome Inn. She is out of the Seattle Slew mare Inny River, who is a half-sister to Graded Stakes winner Lotus Pool.
A towering son of one of the all-time greats, Danzig, Hard Spun was the famously fast winner of the G1 King’s Bishop Stakes. He currently ranks among the top US first crop sires with 18 winners, which include G2 Superlative Stakes winner Red Duke and multiple Group-placed Questing.
