First-season sire Ad Valorem recorded his tenth individual winner today with two-year-old gelding Stamp Duty taking out a 1200m maiden at Newcastle.
Stamp Duty, who is from the Daylami mare Lothian Lass, chased down early leader Oh So Cool inside the 200m and went onto score comfortably.
Ad Valorem, a well-bred son of Danzig, has also sired the Listed winner Samaden and fellow multiple scorers Revine and Una Vita Difficile. His first southern hemisphere crop have just turned two and he stands at Kelvinside at a fee of $11,000 including GST.
