One of the main flag bearers for her sire with a G1 placing at two, three-year-old Domesday filly Divorces has raced in the best of company throughout her career, taking out the G3 Thousand Guineas Prelude last Spring.
Partnered by Sydney jockey Hugh Bowman, the talented filly bided her time at the tail of the field early, before unleashing a exceptional finishing burst to defeat her rivals by two-and-a-quarter lengths.
Bred by Woodlands Stud, the aptly named Divorces is out of the Octagonal mare Family Breakup, and is a half-sister to juvenile Stakes performer Disputes. Family Breakup was again covered by Domesday last season.
An impressive young stallion who is proving he’s got what it takes, siring top notch gallopers off a low fee, Domesday will stand this season at Northwood Park for a fee of $22,000 including GST.
