Set The Trend, from the first European crop of Darley stallion Reset, made all the running to land the Listed On The House Stakes at Goodwood on Monday May 30. The Andrew Balding trained gelding broke well and never saw another rival, registering his fourth success in a 13-race career with this one-and-a-quarter length triumph.
Bred by Old Suffolk Stud, he is second winner out of the Woodman mare, Masrora, a granddaughter of the multiple G1-winning US Champion, Talking Picture.
Reset stands at Northwood Park, Victoria at a fee of $16,500 Inc GST, and he is the states leading sire of Stakes winners. This season alone he has sired five G2 winners; Pinker Pinker, Goon Serpent, Set For Fame, Avienus and Well Rounded.
