She Dances became the fourth Black Type winner in recent weeks for shuttle stallion Street Boss when the speedy four-year-old impressively won the G3 Northwood Plume Stakes over 1,200m at Caulfield on Saturday, 14 October.
She Dances settled outside the lead before sprinting clear in the home straight under jockey Linda Meech to beat Rose Quartz and La Danseuse Rouge.
It was the Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman trained mare’s first win at Stakes level and boosted her fine record to six wins and one placing from 12 starts for prize money and bonuses of $651,565.
She Dances, bred by O E & D R Pope was offered by Blue Gum Farm at the 2021 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale and bought by John Foote Bloodstock for $180,000.
Street Boss, sire of the mighty Anamoe and 64 other Stakes winners of 135 Black Type races, recently tasted success with Rosa and Accomplished Girl in the United States.
She Dances is out of the Lonhro mare Charleston Dancer, who is again in foal to Street Boss.
The stallion, whose progeny have now won 2551 races worldwide, leads the roster at Darley’s Northwood Park property in Victoria for a service fee of $66,000, including GST.
