Excelida continued a remarkable day for Champion Australian sire Exceed And Excel when she won the G2 Rose Of Kingston Stakes over 1,400m at Flemington on Saturday, 1 October.
Just a few hours after Zulfiqar (Exceed And Excel) debuted with an all-the-way victory in the Listed Maribyrnong Trial Stakes (1,000m) to give their sire his 555th juvenile winner worldwide, Excelida (Michael Dee) wore down Argentia and She’s All Class to win by three-quarters of a length.
We are extremely proud to see Excelida have her day in the sun, she is very deserving of a first stakes win. A big thank you to trainers @lindsayparkrace, jockey Mick Dee & @trelawneystud who we purchased her from as a yearling @inglis_sales. https://t.co/wifgPOEXqV
