The abiding presence of Street Boss in Australia continued at Caulfield on Saturday when his two-year-old filly Arcaded turned the G2 Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude into a procession.
On her second trip to the races, Arcaded made it two-from-two as she eased her way to the front inside the 300m and then powered away to a dominant 2-1/2 length victory over Scorched Earth and Wolves.
The win made Arcaded the 45th Stakes winner for Street Boss whose recent two-year-old Stakes winners in Australia include Hanseatic and Anamoe while his 4YO Elite Street won the G1 Winterbottom Stakes in Perth in December 2020.
Arcaded’s win places her among the top chances for this month’s G1 Blue Diamond Stakes, also at Caulfield.
Anamoe duly added his name to Blue Diamond mix when the closest of seconds in the colts and Arcaded is out of the winning Lonhro mare Gloriette.
Street Boss stood his latest northern hemisphere season at Jonabell Farm, Kentucky and will shuttle to his Australian base at Northwood Park, Victoria for the 2021 season.
