Dickinson reeled in Lady Eli in the shadow of the wire to claim the G1 Jenny Wiley Stakes at Keeneland April 15.
The five-year-old daughter of Medaglia d’Oro capped a spectacular four-win day at Keeneland for Godolphin and trainer Kiaran McLaughlin. They also won the G3 Ben Ali Stakes with Watershed (Bernardini), the fourth race with Tasteful (Street Cry), and sixth with Zennor (Medaglia d’Oro).
Dickinson entered the Jenny Wiley off back-to-back Graded Stakes wins in Florida, taking the G3 Suwannee River at Gulfstream prior to winning the G2 Hillsborough at Tampa Bay Downs.
Under a sharp ride from jockey Paco Lopez, Dickinson stalked the early pace set by Catch A Glimpse. As the field hit the top of the stretch, Dickinson swung wide out to the center of the course, and with a late surge got past Lady Eli at the wire to win by a head.
Bred in Kentucky by Darley, Dickinson is out of the A.P. Indy mare, Little Belle, winner of the G1 Ashland Stakes and a runner-up in the G1 Kentucky Oaks and G1 Coaching Club American Oaks. Little Belle is a daughter of Champion Flagbird, winner of the G1 Premio Presidente della Repubblica.
Dickinson became the second Graded Stakes winner of the weekend for Medaglia d’Oro. His three-year-old daughter Ever So Clever provided the stallion with his 100th career Stakes winner when she captured the G3 Fantasy Stakes at Oaklawn Park April 14.
