Street Boss filly remains unbeaten with G3 victory
Three-year-old Street Boss filly Petits Filous remained unbeaten and confirmed she is one of Australia’s most exciting fillies with an all-the-way win in the G3 Quezette Stakes over 1100m at Caulfield, August 15.
A dominant winner of her first two career starts at Moonee Valley, Petits Filous jumped straight to the front in her Stakes debut and never relinquished the lead despite being challenged strongly at the 200m mark.
Bred by Emirates Park Stud, Petits Filous is the first foal to race out of Exceed And Excel mare Excellent Lady, a half-sister to G1 winner La Bella Dama.
Street Boss, whose first Australian-bred crop average an amazing $75,000 in earnings per starter and include Stakes-winning sprinters Thiamandi and The Quarterback, is the sire of G1 winners Capo Bastone and Danza in America and now looks to have a real star in his second Australian crop in Petits Filous.
Street Boss is standing this season at Northwood Park at a fee of $11,000 inc. GST.
