B Shanny blows them away in Leon Reed Memorial Handicap
Sent off as the 1/4 heavy favourite, Street Cry's B Shanny absolutely dominated the competition in the Leon Reed Memorial Handicap at Finger Lakes, August 17.
In the 1200m race B Shanny broke well and dashed to the front to set the pace. Increasing his margin around the turn, the gelding cleared away in the straight by nearly five lengths for an easy all-the-way win.
Bred in Kentucky by Stonewall Farm, the four-year-old is out of G2 Cotillion Handicap winner and G1-placed Nothing But Fun and is from the family of Champions Highest Trump and Ajina.
