Darley in Australia has announced that throughout August it will hold a series of online auctions of nominations to Exceed And Excel and Commands for the 2013 southern hemisphere breeding season.

Commencing on Wednesday, August 7, three nominations each to Exceed And Excel and Commands will be sold via the Darley website. The nominations will have no reserve and will be sold with Darley’s standard pay on live foal terms.

Alastair Pulford, Darley’s Head of Sales in Australia said, “We are extremely excited about this initiative. It was very well received by our clients in America earlier this year and we are confident it will be a tremendous success here in Australia, too. Three additional nominations to two of our most popular stallions will be made available and by selling them online via auction allows our clients guaranteed access at prices that will be determined by them.”

“In addition, if our clients are the successful bidders in the online auction on a stallion to which they already hold a 2013 nomination, we will amend their contract should they be fortunate enough to buy it in the auction for a lower price.”

Auction dates:

One nomination to each stallion will be offered each week, for three consecutive weeks.

Wednesday, August 7 – Friday, August 9

Wednesday, August 14 – Friday, August 16

Wednesday, August 21 – Friday, August 23

Each auction will commence at 9am AEST and conclude at 4pm AEST.
