Thiamandi becomes third winner
Heading to the races for her first run back from a spell, two-year-old Street Boss filly Thiamandi produced a stunning performance to take the opening race at Murray Bridge on 3 March by five lengths.
Such is the faith in the ability of this filly, that her connections decided to start her career during the Melbourne spring carnival where she finished unplaced behind leading G1 Golden Slipper prospect Villa Verde. The Lloyd Kennewell-trained filly then returned to Adelaide where she finished a close second before heading for a well deserved rest.
Bred by Ealing Park Pty Ltd, Thiamandi is out of the G3 performed Woodborough mare Country Class, the dam of five to the races, all winners, including the stakes performer Gonski Girl.
Thiamandi joins Hailin’ Diamonds and Flying Zoe as winners in Australia for Street Boss, while his northern hemisphere runners include the unbeaten Stakes winner Bosco, the G1 performer Capo Bostone as well as fellow Stakes performers Sheistheboss and Taralicious.
