Street Boss has second southern hemisphere winner
After the debut victory on Sunday of Street Boss filly Hailin’ Diamonds, another filly also making her debut from the first crop of the record breaking son of son of Street Cry in Flying Zoe proved too classy for her opposition, coming from well back in the field to record a narrow but authoritive victory over the 1000m of the Westspeed Plate at Ascot.
Bred by Yarradale Stud, Flying Zoe is out of the Stakes placed Marooned mare Miss Castaway, a three-quarter sister to Listed winner Marooned By Flood as well as a half-sister to the G3 runner-up Wild Flood.
As the sire of two winners in short succession as well as two placegetters from four runners, the progeny of Street Boss are really starting to show their ability on the race tracks of Australia.
As the winner of the G1 Bing Crosby and G1 Triple Bend Invitational, Street Boss is the sire of 22 individual winners from his first USA-bred crop including the unbeaten Stakes winner Bosco, the G1 performer Capo Bostone as well as fellow Stakes performers Sheistheboss and Taralicious.
