Another winner for the Boss
The two-year-old filly Sheistheboss becomes the third winner for her dual G1-winning, record-breaking sire Street Boss. After a good start, the winner settled in behind the leaders throughout most of the race, before charging home in the final 200m to record a convincing win by a length.
Sheistheboss is out of the Alzao mare Seba, a winner of the Listed Chesham Stakes in England and also G1-placed in America when she was third in the Mother Goose Stakes. The daughter of Street Boss was bred in a partnership of Haras du Cadran, Pascal Deshayes, S.C.E.A. Partner and Ecurie Winning and is owned by Haras du Cadran, Patrick Klein and Pascal Deshayes.
A son of Street Cry, Street Boss was represented by his first winner in Italy recently with Catboss and subsequently with his first North American winner with Aberfoyle Mill. With his first southern hemisphere crop of yearlings selling to $120,000, Street Boss will stand the forthcoming breeding season at Darley's Northwood Park at a fee of $11,000 (inc. GST), while his sire Street Cry will stand at Darley Kelvinside at a fee of $110,000 (inc. GST).
