When Frosted's two-year-old daughter Travel Column entered the starting gate for her debut on September 4th at Churchill Downs, the tote board didn't show a very large spread in the odds with at least four fillies vying for favoritism. In the end, none of that really mattered as Travel Column had winning on her mind, scoring impressively to win by four and one-half lengths, while earning TDN Rising Star status. It's the second such honor given to a two-year-old by Frosted this year making him the only freshman sire with two such runners.
Travel Column broke very well from her number eight post position and was in second place by the time the field reached the first quarter mile. She remained on the outside of the pacesetter as the field entered the turn and then quickly sprinted clear of the field by three lengths down the stretch and drew away nearing the wire.
