A star-studded debut book of mares for the champion Anamoe

Nine-time G1 winner, Anamoe covered a star-studded debut book of mares, befitting of his distinguished career.

Godolphin’s Horse of the Year retired to stand his first season at Darley Kelvinside in the Hunter Valley. Anamoe achieved G1 victories at two, three and four, and became Godolphin’s most prolific G1 winner - ever.

A son of Darley’s Street Boss from the preeminent Street Cry sire-line, Anamoe’s dam, Anamato was a G1 winner and daughter of Australian Champion sire, Redoute's Choice.

With his unparalleled race-record and auspicious pedigree, Australasian breeders supported Anamoe with the most coveted broodmares on either side of the Tasman Sea.

Anamoe’s first book at stud consisted of 10 individual G1 winners, the dams of eight G1 winners, 64 Stakes winners and the dams of 20 Stakes winners. An unprecedented 74% of his book were Black-Type performers.

The highlights include G1 winners Lighthouse, Kiamichi, The Perfect Pink and Valley Girl, G2 winners Kissonallfourcheeks, Artistry and Anaheed. A full sister to The Everest hero Giga Kick, Golden Slipper winner Pierro and G3 winner Supido, as well as the dams of G1 winners Private Eye, Bivouac and Joliestar.

Anamoe’s first mares in-foal offered at public auction were highly sought-after realising up to $600,000.
