She Dances continued her purple patch of Stakes form with an emphatic win in the Listed Chautauqua Stakes over 1,200m at Moonee Valley on Friday, 27 October.
Less than two weeks after a brilliant performance in the G3 Northwood Plume Stakes (1,200m) at Caulfield, the Peter Moody- and Katherine Coleman-trained four-year-old outclassed Semillion and Ranges with regular rider Linda Meech in the saddle.
It was her second win at Stakes level and boosted her overall record to seven wins and one placing from 13 starts for prize money and bonus earnings of $757,565.
She Dances was bred by O.E and D.R Pope P/L and offered by Blue Gum Farm at Euroa at the 2021 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale. The then filly was purchased by John Foote Bloodstock for $180,000.
She Dances is out of the Lonhro (AUS) mare Charleston Dancer, who is again in foal to Street Boss.
The sire of former champion Australian galloper Anamoe, Street Boss has sired 880 winners worldwide of 2569 races β including 66 Stakes winners of 137 Black-Type races.
Street Boss spearheads the stallion roster at Darleyβs Northwood Park property in Victoria for a service fee of $66,000, including GST.
