Second Stakes win for Reset gelding
Reset gelding Shoreham recorded his second Stakes win at Flemington September 7, resuming with victory in the Listed Sofitel over 1400m.
A last-start third placegetter in the G1 South Australian Derby, Shoreham won the Listed Galilee Final as a three-year-old and is now a legitimate chance for the major Cups over the Spring Carnival.
Bred by Jim and June Anderson, Shoreham is the first foal to race out of the unraced Redoute’s Choice mare Teneales Pearl, a daughter of Stakes winning Wolverton mare Hysterical. Teneales Pearl has a three-year-old full sister to Shoreham and is in foal to Street Boss.
Reset is the sire of 24 Stakes winners including G1 Cox Plate winner Pinker Pinker and dual G1 Derby winner Rebel Raider.
Reset is standing the current breeding season at Northwood Park at a fee of $16,500 inc. GST.
