After recording nine Stakes winners in Australia and another in New Zealand during the 2010/2011 racing season, Reset, the unbeaten dual G1-winning son of Zabeel has firmly established himself as one of the best value stallions in not only in his home-base state of Victoria, but in the southern hemisphere.
Held at the Eastbank Centre in Sheppart on August 6, the North East Thoroughbreds Annual Awards night was a huge success for all concerned, with many significant industry participants in attendance.
Having an outstanding season which saw his Stakes winners highlighted by the G2-winning, G1 placed Pinker Pinker, Reset’s Stakes winner to runner ratio for any stallion with over 100 runners during the season is the best in Victoria and has him placed in second position behind fellow Darley stallion Lonhro on a national basis.
As we build into the upcoming spring carnival, Reset’s progeny are already giving the indication that a good season is on its way with the likes of Module, Star Of Giselle, Avienus, Rebel Raider and Pinker Pinker all set to appear on the track in the coming weeks.
Standing the forthcoming season at Darley’s Victorian base Northwood Park for a fee of $16,500 (inc GST), Reset is already proving extremely popular with breeders.
