G1-winning sprinter who also won at G2 and G3 level. A son of Commands from the same family as top two-year-old of 2019, Microphone, and champion sprinter Yell.
As well as his own undeniable class, Holler has always had been surrounded by quality. A son of Commands who, in a tragically short stud career, produced excellent racehorses horses such as Epaulette, the champion filly Appearance, the 10-time G1 winner Melody Belle, Skilled, Commanding Jewel and Paratroopers, Holler’s maternal pedigree is equally impressive. His grand dam Vocalist, a half-sister to G1 winner Anthems, produced the champion sprinter Yell and the Stakes winner Sung, the mother of Australia’s top-rated two-year-old of 2019, Microphone, now also a G2 winner at three.
- In winning the G1 Canterbury Stakes as a three-year-old at weight-for-age, he had behind him the G1 winners Kermadec, Criterion and First Seal;
- When he won the G2 Australia Stakes at weight-for-age, the beaten brigade included Churchill Dancer and Rebel Dane;
- And when a close second in the G1 William Reid Stakes he beat home the G1 winners Japonisme and The Quarterback;
- Rated behind only his stablemate Exosphere at three and achieved a higher overall rating than his sire Commands.
- After winning his maiden, his next three successes were in Group races.
