At a sale that has traditionally been Australia’s premium bloodstock auction, Holbrook Thoroughbreds is one of the smaller farms adding to its quality and a boutique Hunter Valley farm that has been raising good horses for generations.
Owner Julie Harris will offer three Brazen Beau yearlings, among them the only two fillies by at the Easter Sale by the sale-topping stallion.
They are part of a nine-horse draft that is completed by five Vancouver yearlings and one by Pierro, both sons of Darley stallions.
“All three of the Brazen Beaus are beautifully put together yearlings, we’re extremely happy with them and they’ve all been very popular,” Harris said.
“Brazen Beau comes to this sale in very good form from the Melbourne and Sydney sales, so we’re quite hopeful of good results.”
The first of the Brazen Beaus to enter the sale ring will be Lot 136, a colt from the Stakes-placed Montelimar who is a daughter of the Stakes winner Allez France and Harris’s pick.
