Two-year-old filly Exchanges continued Domesday's winning ways, taking out the Eastcoast Plumbtec Plate at Sale on Thursday.
Stepping up the 1400m for the first time, the Lee Freedman-trained filly saluted by three-and-a-quarter lengths to defeat stablemate Semper Augustus. A long-head away in third was the well-bred Domesday colt Hackers, who, like the winner, races in the maroon and white silks of Sheikh Mohammed.
Both Exchanges and Hackers were bred by Woodlands Stud, with the former out of the winning Danehill mare Taylor Dane, while Hackers is out of the Quest For Fame mare Less Speed, a full-sister to Dextrous (dam of last Saturday’s G1 AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes runner-up Skilled (Commands)).
With four individual winners to date, highlighted by the unbeaten Giresun and G3 colt Pressday, Domesday offers breeders the opportunity to visit a stallion of immense two-year-old ability, speed and precocity by Red Ransom, from the family of G1-producing sires Redoute’s Choice and Al Maher.
