We are pleased to announce several key appointments around our nominations team, ensuring breeders across Australia and New Zealand have the resources they need to succeed in both the sales ring and on the racetrack.
The nominations team comprises Alastair Pulford (Head of Stallions) with Lisa Manning appointed Nominations Manager in Victoria and Arvin Chadee appointed Nominations Manager in New South Wales. They are supported by new additions Tess O’Connor (Nominations Sales Consultant, VIC) and Sebastian Angelillo (Nominations Sales Consultant, NSW).
In Victoria, Lisa Manning will oversee a roster that includes the proven Street Boss, G1 Newmarket winner Cylinder and the exciting young stallion Blue Point. With over 25 years of experience in the thoroughbred industry, Lisa has worked with some of Australia’s most respected farms, including Newhaven Park, Reavill Farm and Vinery.
“The roster across Victoria and New South Wales is in a really exciting place right now. I’m thrilled to be working with Tess, and together, we’re focused on giving breeders access to the best stallions, backed by the best support we can provide,” said Lisa.
Arvin Chadee will oversee the NSW nominations roster, which includes the nine-time G1 winner Anamoe, Bivouac, Harry Angel and Pinatubo - some of the best names in the business.
Arvin brings a global perspective to the team being a graduate of the renowned Godolphin Flying Start program. His career has included work with leading UK G1 trainers Karl Burke, Michael Appleby and Dean Ivory. Having been on the Darley Nominations team for three years, Arvin’s knowledge and enthusiasm is already highly valued by breeders from all over Australia.
“My international experience has given me great insights and with our shuttle stallions making such an impact, I’m eager for the season ahead. Having Sebastian on the team adds another valuable international perspective, which is a massive asset,” said Arvin.
Alastair Pulford, as Darley’s Head of Stallions, continues to provide invaluable support to the nominations team. His extensive experience and strong industry relationships remain a cornerstone of the team’s success.
“Each of our team members brings something unique to the table, from years of industry experience to strong relationships with breeders,” said Alastair. “I’m confident that with Lisa and Arvin leading their respective teams, along with Sebastian and Tess supporting them, our clients will have the best possible guidance throughout their breeding decisions.”
