Bistro served notice that even better wins were in store when the speedy Street Boss filly led all the way to win the Listed Cinderella Stakes over 1,050m at Morphettville in Adelaide on Monday, 14 March.
A winner on debut at Sandown last December, Bistro put the writing on the wall with an excellent fifth in the G3 Blue Diamond Preview at Caulfield last month.
With premier jockey Jamie Kah in the saddle on Monday, Bistro jumped straight to the front and cruised home a three-length winner over Runaway Belle and See You In Heaven for Godolphin co-trainers Anthony and Sam Freedman.
Bistro gave Street Boss, also the sire of champion Australian three-year-old Anamoe, his 61st winner at Stakes level.
The filly’s dam, Estaminet (Lonhro), has a colt at foot by Frosted and was served by Too Darn Hot in December.
Street Boss has three lots in the catalogue for the 2022 Australian Easter Yearling Sale at Riverside Stables, Warwick Farm on 5-6 April - click to view Street Boss' Easter yearlings.
Bistro joins this season's Stakes-winning stars Anamoe, Pinstriped, Elite Street, and El Padrino, another juvenile Stakes winner for their sire.
The young nick of Street Boss over Lonhro mares has produced four runners for three winners, including the two-time Group winner Arcaded, a juvenile winner of the G2 Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) and G3 Magic NIght Stakes.
