Advert swept to the lead on the far turn and drew off in the stretch to win the eight-furlong Malvern Stakes at Presque Isle Downs August 6.
The race marked the Stakes debut for the lightly-raced three-year-old daughter of Lonhro, who improved her record to three wins, one second and one third-place finish in just seven career starts.
The dark bay or brown filly was bred in Pennsylvania by her owner, Barlar LLC. Advert is out of the mare Allude, a Stakes-placed daughter of Orientate. Allude has also produced the Stakes winners Imply (by E Dubai) and Dancinginthecircle (by Divine Park). Advert hails from the immediate family of champion and Horse of the Year, Holy Bull.
Advert is one of 16 Black type performers so far this year for Lonhro, who is also sire of G1 winner Impending and the G2-winning trio Holding Gold, Cardsharp and Isotherm.
Lonhro stands at Kelvinside at a fee of $66,000 including GST.
