Darley-sired fillies quinella Listed Cinderella Stakes
Domesday’s fantastic run with his two-year-olds this season continued when his two-year-old daughter Sunset Rock defeated Bernardini filly Go Indy Go in the Listed Cinderella Stakes over 1050m at Morphettville, March 10.
Having just her second start following a second placing on debut, Sunset Rock began smartly and was never headed, defeating the fast-finishing Go Indy Go by two lengths.
Sunset Rock becomes the sixth career Stakes winner for Domesday and his fifth Stakes performed two-year-old from his first Victorian-bred crop.
Bred by Graham Kelly, Sunset Rock is the first foal of Fastnet Rock mare M’Indigo, a juvenile winner over 1000m. M’Indigo has a yearling gelding by Authorized and foaled an Ad Valorem filly last Spring.
The sire of G1 winners Pressday and Doctor Doom, Domesday will be represented by six yearlings at the VOBIS Gold yearling sale in Melbourne next month. To view their pedigrees click here.
